Jolanta Bochen was born in Warsaw, Poland. She has graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, having earned Master Degree of Fine Arts. Over the years her passion for textures and natural fibers led her to creating large three-dimensional tapestries
inspired by biological structures. She has been highly recognized in her artistic expression, and her works were exhibited in United States, Europe and Asia .Her monumental tapestries are found in public galleries, museums and private collections.
Recently Jolanta is creating fibrous collages named "After My Tapestries". She is also working in soft pastels and pen and ink drawings.
